Previous Badwater Racing:
Previous Badwater Crewing: crewed and paced (approx 50 miles) for Steven Silver in '00
Previous Badwater Clinic I plan on attending the clinic in July
Best Ultra Run Experience:
Probably the last day of Coyote 4 Play in 2000. There was a spectacular storm when the rain was coming down in sheets and the winds were whipping in from the ocean. Met some terrific people that weekend.
Weird Experience:
Had a vivid hallucination at mile 98 at the Arkansas Traveller in broad daylight. Saw a bridge in graphic detail, but when I looked away for a second and then looked back, it was gone.
Challenge:
They are all challenging in their own way. I don't think that I've ever stood at the starting line and not had a few butterflies.
Why:
The challenge, the scenery, and the camaraderie. Each ultra experience has taught me something new about myself.
Why badwater:
The stark beauty of the area and the extreme conditions make this a unique race. Being a participant in such an adventure will, without a doubt, help me redefine my limits.
