35 mile solo training run in the Sierra's - amazingly tranquil experience - beautiful country, challenging day.

Weird Experience:

After about 24 hours my mind wanders and I start seeing things - wierd at first, but it can be very entertaining.

Challenge:

Pike's Peak Marathon '99 - kinda sorta an ultra, I drank too much gatorade on the way down...all the jostling..forgot the Tums - it was a fun one.

Why:

Because it's the only time I feel normal.

Why badwater:

I like to feel normal.
