hallucinations that occurred in Owens valley last year were too vivid and realistic.

Challenge:
badwater 2001; I have never been involved in an event of this magnitude, difficulty, and total exhaustion. It was the hardest thing that I have ever been involved in, and I did not even get to the finish line.

Why:
For a lot of reasons: the joy of running, the challenge, the love of being outdoors in God's beautiful world, the socialization with other runners, and the opportunity to become more spiritual with God.
