Badwater Prediction:

I expect a finishing time under 40 hours. I really like to train and race in the heat.(See MARATHON DES SABLES 1999 and 2 times 3th place in THE ULTRAMAN HAWAII 2000/2001.) Also my occupation as a flight attendant gives me the possibility to train in the humidity of an african country, or in the desert region of Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

Weird Experience:

SWISS ALPINE MARATHON, 29 July 2000: Actually the only reason I would have not to race this beautiful mountain course is when you meet bad weather conditions like rain or even snowfall, and therefore really cold temperatures.(So I had in July 2000.)

This experience is TOTAL.
It's a journey to the PHYSICAL limits - and PSYCHICAL adventure.
It's a challenge against your own "INDOLENCE!"

Why badwater:

Racing BADWATER simply means "get to know yourself" in a extreme and beautiful place......Desert, vast valley floor, harshly sculpted mountains, garish colors, superbly adapted plants and animals - all are visible expressions of geologic time reckoned in billions of years. The driest, hottest climate imaginable, the infrequent rains - this is Death Valley, an immense, wild land that man has never tamed.
