Double Ironman in Alabama. The last few hours were surreal. I was unable to digest food. It took every mental trick to keep going.

Challenge:

Last year I paced a friend at Leadville 100. It was so difficult to keep up with him because of the terrain, darkness, cold, equipment, blah, blah, blah. I was glad to finish with him. I had wanted to quit 20 miles earlier.
