Badwater Prediction:

under 40 hours: previous experience has taught me to do some things differently (i.e. blistering and foot swelling). There is a steep learning curve on this event and the second time will be faster.

Weird Experience:

hallucinations at Badwater on day 2. No bridge, lights or parked cars I was told by my handler as we approached Lone Pine. Suggested it was time to sleep a bit.

Challenge:

Very cold Rocky Racoon 100 miler. I hate cold weather. Almost hypothermia. Give me Death Valley any time. Sun and heat = fun running.

Why:

I enjoy the longer distances since it takes me such a long time to warm up my artificial hip.
