Badwater Prediction:

Under 40 ...because I have 4 out of five times and last year I felt like crap and missed it by 19 minutes.

Weird Experience:

Running with the Tarahumaras in Copper Canyon, Mexico...you had to be there.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Challenge:

Badwater...the heat, the surface, the ups and the distance

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Why:

I like challenge and the people and the shorter races and the people who run them are boring.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Why badwater:

'Cause I'm good at it.

Resume: I have been running comptetitivley since 1964...I have raced every distance from 200 meters to 2 days...I also was a competitive speed skater (ice) and skated in the 1968 Olympic Trials. I played competitive tennis until 1984 and as a teenager competed in the Orange Bowl in Miami, FL (1966). I started running ultras because I was bored with road racing.
