My Badwater Finishing Prediction:

Under 40 hours. I consider that by my times in races like the Marathon des Sables or Desert Cup, besides the Grand Slam of Ultrarunning 2002 I will be under 40 hours.

My Weirdest Experience:

Wasatch Front 100 2002, my last 100 miles of the Grand Slam I was sick and the weather was cold and rainy. At mile 40 I lost all my energy, but kept going. It was my worst time in a 100miles.

My Most Challenging Race Experience:

Desert Cup Jordan 2001, first sand and sand with hot weather carrying a backpack, from mile 70 uphill with very cold temperatures I wasn't prepared for, had hypothermia and had to stop for 6hr. then try to run fast, I pushed myself really hard. I also had problems with my achiles tendon almost all the race.

Why I Run Ultras:

I just love to run and excel doing something that few other atempt. I like to be known for doing extreme runs and that people admire me.

Why I want a slot on the start line of the 2003 Badwater Ultramarathon:

One more challenge among many I have in my list.
