AdventureCORPS, Inc., an event production firm specializing in ultra-endurance sports events, will host the 33rd Anniversary of The 508 Bicycle Race, now known as the Silver State 508, on September 17-19, 2016. Founded by John Marino in 1983 and known as “The Toughest 48 hours in Sport” and just simply “The 508,” it is the world’s premier 48-hour ultra cycling race. This 508-mile bicycle race is revered the world over for its epic mountain climbs, stark desert scenery, desolate roads, and its reputation as one of the toughest but most gratifying endurance challenges available, bar none. Solo, two-person relay, and four-person relay divisions are offered with a field limit of app. 250 racers (app. 70 soloists and 70 relay teams). A self-supported solo Randonneur Division was added in 2015 and will return in subsequent editions.
