Rolo Tomasi Biography

Badwater Ultramarathon is honored to work with Rolo Tomasi, one of the world's most sought after action and adventure photographers. Just back from his shoot of a lion hunt coming of age ritual with the Massai in Africa, Rolo 'rolled' off the plane and into Death Valley just in time to cover Badwater for our webcast. He is often confused with another sports photographer Tony Di Zinno who sort of looks like him... "but of course I am much better looking", says Rolo! "I taught him (di Zinno) everything he knows—but not everything I know!" (Laughter)
