An International Flavor

An international field of elite athletes has been assembled again for the 2004 Kiehl’s Badwater Ultramarathon. 72 runners representing a dozen countries began the event on Monday morning, July 12 in Death Valley, California. Germany leads the foreign contingent with 15 runners. Other nationalities represented include Canada, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, France, New Zealand, Italy, Mexico, Monaco, the United Kingdom, and the USA.
